This means bad conditions can shut down most of the mountain at once, and fog is common. The long season and well-groomed intermediate runs mean consistent skiing if conditions cooperate, and the base elevation of 2,088m helps with snow stability through spring.

Living costs are genuinely cheap. Groceries average 350 per week. The resort itself has no traditional village or town infrastructure. You'll be based in a modern mountain area with a handful of hotels. This means you'll need to commute to Kayseri, the nearest real city, for everyday amenities like decent restaurants, shops, and any semblance of a social life outside the mountain.
