Espace Diamant

The skiing

Espace Diamant is a 192km connected network spread across six villages in the Savoie Alps, offering genuinely beginner-friendly terrain with wide, forgiving pistes and no extreme technical demands. The area maxes out at around 1,070m of vertical drop and sits at 2,069m elevation, which means reliable snow cover but also a relatively short season; most towns operate for just over 100 days per year. This is intermediate and beginner territory, and if you're chasing steep couloirs or big vertical days, you'll want to look elsewhere. What you get instead is consistent cruising, good snow quality, and the ability to move between villages without breaking your pass. There are no signature World Cup runs or famous freeride zones that define the area; that's also the point - it's a working skier's network, not a destination resort.
