3 Zinnen Dolomites

The skiing

Three Zinnen is a connected network across the Puster Valley, stringing together three modest but linked ski areas with a shared pass. You're looking at roughly 115 kilometres of skiable terrain spread across 1,170 metres of vertical; terrain that sits solidly in beginner-to-intermediate territory. This isn't a place to chase big descents or endless tree runs, it's a network built for progression, cruising, and a season where you'll actually ski the same runs enough times to know them intimately. If you're an aggressive all-mountain skier or a freeride hunter, you'll likely find yourself bored by month three. If you're building skills, prefer groomed cruising, or want a season where you can focus on technique and consistency rather than chasing new terrain every day, this area works.

The towns

sits at the heart of the network and feels like the de facto hub; it's the largest of the three towns and has the most developed seasonaire infrastructure, with decent nightlife and enough restaurants and bars to sustain a four-month stay without feeling repetitive. is the quietest and most mountain-village in character, positioned at the eastern edge of the network, it's genuinely peaceful and suits people who want to decompress after work rather than hit the town. rounds out the trio to the west and occupies a middle ground between 's energy and 's calm, though it's the smallest of the three and can feel a bit thin on amenities if you're looking for consistent social life.

Which town should you pick

If you want the most developed seasonaire scene and don't mind a livelier town, base yourself in ; it's where most of the season workers cluster and where you'll find the easiest time meeting people and finding work. If you're on a tight budget and prioritize peace over nightlife, is the calmest option and typically the cheapest to live in. If you want something in between, a bit of social life without the full buzz of , works; though you should know it's smaller and you may need to travel to occasionally for variety.

Getting around

The nearest major airport is Innsbruck, roughly 90 minutes away by car or train. For everyday amenities beyond what the villages offer, Bruneck is the closest proper town, about 20 minutes from by bus or car. The three towns are connected by local bus and lift infrastructure, so you don't need a car to ski the whole network; though having one makes life easier for accessing shops and restaurants outside the villages.
