Pakistan's ski resorts — Malam Jabba in Swat Valley and Naltar near Gilgit — sit in genuinely spectacular Hindu Kush/Karakoram terrain, but the industry around them is small, domestically-run, and not built around foreign seasonal staff the way European or North American resorts are.
Visa Policy: What You Can and Cannot Do
Pakistan doesn't offer a working-holiday visa. Legal employment requires a work visa, sponsored by a Pakistani employer, and processed through Pakistan's Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment or directly via the Ministry of Interior depending on the role. There's no established precedent for this route being used for ski-resort hospitality or lift-operations jobs specifically — the resorts are small and locally staffed.
Practical Reality for Seasonaires
There isn't currently a real "seasonaire scene" at Pakistani resorts to join — no significant foreign-staff hiring pipeline, limited English-language resort infrastructure, and security advisories for parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (where Malam Jabba sits) from several Western governments. This is a genuine destination for a ski trip, but not one to plan a working season around.
